Beta-decay studies of neutron-rich Sc-21-Co-27 nuclei at GANIL.
Original language description
The neutron-rich nuclei (21SC)-S-57,58, Ti-58-60(22),V-60-62(23), Cr-62-66(24), Mn-64-68(25), (67-70)(26) Fe and Co-69-71(27) have been produced at Ganil via interactions of a 61.8 A.MeV Ge-76 beam with a Ni-58 target. Beta-decay studies have been achieved, bringing new half-lives and a better nuclear structure knowledge in this region. These results could help for understanding the overabundances of the neutron-rich stable Fe-58, Ni-64 in certain inclusions of meteorites.
