New Scaling Behavior of low-p(T) Hadron Production in proton-(anti)proton collisions at RHIC and Tevatron
Result description
Data on inclusive cross sections of particles produced in high energy proton-(anti)proton collisions at ISR, RHIC, and Tevatron are analyzed in the framework of z-scaling. New properties of the scaling function psi(z) - flavor independence and saturationat low z, are established. The approach can be useful for searching for new physics phenomena in particle production at RHIC, Tevatron, and LHC.
