New measurement of excitation functions for (d,x) reactions on Mo-nat with special regard to the formation of Tc-95m, Tc96m+g, Tc-99m and Mo-99
Original language description
Cross-sections for the deuteron-induced reactions on natural molybdenum leading to Tc-93m, 93m+gTC, Tc-94, Tc-94m, Tc-95, Tc-95m, Tc96m+g, Tc-99m, Mo-99, Mo-101, Nb90m+g, Nb-92m, Nb-95 and Zr89m+g were measured in the energy range 3.0-196 MeV on the cyclotron U-120 M in the Institute of Nuclear Physics AS CR Special attention was paid to excitation functions and thick target yields for the formation of Tc-95m, a suitable tracer for Tc-99, of Tc96m+g, which might be used as a beam monitor, and of Tc-99mand Mo-99, the most widespread radionuclide generator pair in nuclear medicine If appropriate, obtained data are compared with the heretofore published cross-sections.
