K^- nuclear quasi-bound states in a chirally motivated coupled-channel approach

  • Original language description

K nuclear optical potentials are constructed from in-medium KN scattering amplitudes within a chirally motivated coupled-channel model. The strong energy and density dependence of the scattering amplitudes at and below threshold leads to K potential depths ReVK (?0) 80 100 MeV. Self consistent calculations of K nuclear quasi-bound states are discussed.
