The scalar mesons in decays of the psi and Upsilon families
Original language description
The f(0) mesons are studied in a combined analysis of data on isoscalar S-wave processes pi pi -> pi pi, K (K) over bar, eta eta and on decays J/psi -> phi(pi pi, K (K) over bar), psi(2S) -> J/psi(pi pi) and Upsilon(2S) -> Upsilon(1S) from the Argus, Crystal Ball, CLEO, CUSB, DM2, Mark II, Mark IEE, and BES III Collaborations. The method of analysis is based on analyticity and unitarity and uses an uniformization procedure. Some spectroscopic implications from results of the analysis are discussed.
