Faddeev Treatment of the Quasi-Bound and Scattering States in the (K)over-barNN-pi Sigma N System: New Results

  • Original language description

A chiral-motivated potential was constructed and used in Faddeev calculations of different characteristics of system. First of all, binding energy and width of the K (-) pp quasi-bound state were newly obtained. The low-energy K (-) d scattering amplitudes, including scattering length, together with the 1s level shift and width of kaonic deuterium were calculated. Comparison with the results obtained with the phenomenological potential demonstrates that the chiral-motivated potential gives more shallowK (-) pp state, while the characteristics of K (-) d system are less sensitive to the form of interaction.
