The oldest rulers of early medieval Bohemia and radiocarbon data
Original language description
The article demonstrates the current possibilities of the use of AMS 14C analyses of the skeletal remains of the Czech ruling dynasty of the Přemyslids. Skeletal remains obtained by archaeological excavations include seven individuals from the second, third and fifth generations. The received data were influenced by diet, age of bone collagen or seasonal variation of 14C activity. The multidisciplinary cooperation in this type of study is necessary.
