New cross-section data for proton-induced reactions on Ti-nat and Cu-nat with special regard to the beam monitoring
Original language description
Excitation functions of the reactions Ti-nat(p,x )V-48,Sc- 43, Sc-44g, Sc-44m, Sc46m + g, Sc-47, Sc-48 and Cu-nat(p,x )Zn-62, Zn-63, Zn-65, Cu-61, Co58m + g were measured in the energy interval of 6.4-36.0 MeV (titanium) and 7.3-35.9 MeV (copper) with use of stacked-foil technique and off-line gamma-ray spectrometry. The results were compared with previously published experimental data and with prediction of the nuclear reaction model code TALYS adopted from the TENDL-2019 online library. Thick target yields were calculated from the obtained cross-sections. Finally, we fit the selected experimental data sets for the Ti-nat(p,x)V-48 and Cu-nat(p,x)Zn-62,Zn-63,Zn-65 reactions and compare the results with the IAEA recommended cross-sections.
