Fracture behaviour and impact testing of materials on isotactic polypropylene base.
Original language description
Fracture toughness of injection-molded isotactic polypropylenes containing 0.03 and 0.10 wt. % of specific beta nucleant has been compared. The material modified by the lower nucleant concentration showed significantly higher toughness in a broad temperature range. This result shows the importance of amorphous matrix in the fracture behaviour.
