Modification of capillary electrophoresis capillaries by poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate), poly(diethylene glycol monomethacrylate) and poly(triethylene glycol monomethacrylate).
Original language description
Hydrophilic coatings for capillary electrophoresis (CE) capillaries were investigated. Three hydrogels were used: poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) [poly(Hema)], poly(diethyleneglycol monomethacrylate) [poly(DEGMA] and poly(triethyleneglycol monomethacrylate) [poly(TEGMA)]. Electrophoretic characteristics of capillaries modified by various way were compared. Polymeric layers adsorbed onto a fused-silica wall were probed with atomic force microscopy.
