Surface and precipitation polymerization of aniline.
Original language description
The polymerization of aniline on the surfaces immersed in the reaction mixture precedes the similar polymerization in the bulk of the reaction mixture. The surface polymerization yields polyaniline nanofilms, while precipitation polymerization gives riseto the polyaniline precipitate. The enhancement of the reaction rate by introduction of the inert surface provided by silica gel has been demonstrated.
