Polyelectrolyte complex membranes - surface and permeability properties.

  • Original language description

In order to study how the membrane hydrophilicity influences the pervaporation separation properties in dehydration of alcohols, two polyelectrolyte comples membranes, based on interfacial reaction of polyanionic sodium salt of sulfoethyl cellulose withpolycationic poly[dimethyl(diallyl)ammonium chloride] or catiotic surfactant benzyl(dodecyl)dimethylammonium chloride, were prepared and tested.
