Original language description

The rheology of butyl acrylate/styrene/acrylic acid latices thickened with associative thickeners was investigated. The pseudoplastic character of complex viscosity was similar for both HEUR and HASE thickeners but viscoelasticity significantly differedindicating that the HEUR molecules create a viscoelastic space structure. The viscoelasticity of latices thickened with HEUR decreased after incorporation of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate.
