    Effect of POSSTM functionality on morphology of thin hybrid chitosan films

  • Original language description

    Organic-inorganic hybrid films based on chitosan and hydrophilic polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes were prepared by alkaline precipitation of dried blends. The interactions between chitosan and POSS derivatives have occurred through multiple noncovalent bonds, resulting in structural changes of chitosan on a nanoscale, and were responsible for change in diffusion permeability to electrolytes.

    Organicko/anorganické filmy založené na chitosanu a polyhedralních oligomerních silseskvioxanech byly připraveny alkalickým srážením suchých směsí. Interakce chitosanu s POSS deriváty prostřednictvím mnohačetných nekovalentních vazeb vedlo ke strukturnímzměnám v chisanu v nanometrovém měřítku a byly zodpovědné za změnu v difuzní permeabilitě pro elektrolyty.
