One-pot synthesis of isocyanate and methacrylate multifunctionalized polyisobutylene and polyisobutylene-based amphiphilic networks

  • Original language description

Amphiphilic polymer networks containing 41 and 67 mol % HEMA have been prepared by a one-pot synthesis from a cationic copolymer of IB and IDI. PHEMA-PIB network containing 43 mol % HEMA was also prepared by radical copolymerization of PIB(MA)n with HEMAusing sequential synthesis. The resulting PHEMA-PIB networks were characterized by solid state 13C NMR spectroscopy and by DSC. An amphiphilic nature of the resulting networks was proved by swelling in both water and n-heptane. Preliminary biological tests of PHEMA-PIB hydrogels confirmed that they can be useful for biomedical applications.

Jednostupňová syntéza isokyanátového a methakrylátového multifunkcionalizovaného polyisobutylenu a amfifilních síťí na bázi polyisobutylenu

  • Czech description

Amfifilní polymerní sítě obsahující 41 a 67 mol % HEMA byly připraveny jednostupňovou syntézou z kationtového kopolymeru IB a IDI. PHEMA-PIB síť obsahující 43 mol % HEMA byla připravena radikálovou kopolymerizací PIB(MA)n s HEMA užitím postupné syntézy.Výsledné PHEMA-PIB sítě byly charakterizovány 13C NMR spektroskopií v pevném stavu a DSC. Amfifilní povaha finálních síťí byla prokázána botnáním jak ve vodě tak v n-heptanu. Předběžné biologické testy potvrdily, že PHEMA-PIB hydrogely mohou mít bilologické uplatnění.
