    J integral evaluation of PA6 nanocomposite with improved toughness

  • Original language description

    Admixture of fine ethylene-co-methyl acrylate rubber inclusions to polyamide/montmorillonite nanocomposite resulted in a significant toughness enhancement accompanied by only a slight decrease in stiffness. It has been shown that the synergism of fine rubber particles and clay layers takes place at low clay content leading to improved mechanical behavior.

    Podstatné zvýšení houževnatosti s minimálním poklesem tuhosti bylo u nanokompozitu polyamid 6/montmorillonit dosaženo přídavkem inkluzí etylén-metylakrylátového elastomeru. Při nízkém obsahu nanosilikátu byla nalezena synergie mezi oběma dispergovanými složkami vedoucí ke zlepšeným mechanickým vlastnostem.
