    We deal with the photophysical and photoelectrical study of novel fluorene-thiophene copolymers, and thiophene-based oligomers and polymers. The absorption of polymers covers the whole visible spectrum; the low-band-gap polymer (Eg = 1.35 eV) exhibited absorption maximum at 785 nm with a shoulder up to 950 nm in thin layer. The ionization potential in the range 4.85-5.35 eV and electron affinity 2.8-3.8 eV for the polymers were determined.

    Zabývali jsme se fotofyzikálním a fotochemickým chováním kopolymerů fluoren-thiofen a oligomerů a polymerů thiofenu. Absorpce polymerů pokrývá celé viditelné spektrum a ?low-band-gap? polymer vykazoval absorpční maximum při 785 nm a v tenké vrstvě byl konec absorpce při 950 nm. U polymerů byly změřeny hodnoty ionizačního potenciálu (4.85-5.35 eV) a elektronové afinity (2.8-3.8 eV).
