Synthesis of novel low-band-gap thiophene-based oligomers and copolymers
Original language description
Novel non-alkylated and alkylated quinquethiophenes were prepared by the Stille coupling reaction of bis(5-bromo-2-thienyl)thieno[3,4-c][2,1,3]thiadiazole (TBr) with 2-(tributylstannyl)thiophene. These compounds possess long wavelength absorption maximaaround 700 nm in solution and 750 nm in thin films. Dibromo compound TBr is further employed as a building block in the syntheses of low-band-gap copolymers with fluorene units.
Czech name
Syntéza "low-band-gap" oligomerů a kopolymerů na bázi thiofenu.
Czech description
Nové alkylované a nealkylované quinquethiofeny byly připraveny Stille coupling reakcí bis(5-bromo-2-thienyl)thieno[3,4-c][2,1,3]thiadiazolu (TBr) a 2-(tributylstannyl)-thiofenu. Tyto látky vykazují absorpční maximum okolo 700 nm v roztoku a 750 nm v tenkých filmech. Dibrom derivát TBr byl dále použit jako strukturní blok v syntéze "low-band-gap" kopolymerů s fluorenovými strukturními jednotkami.
