Spinal cord injury also results in the formation of pseudocystic cavities. Hydrogel implantation in spinal cord injury repair provides a bridge for regenerating nervous tissue. In this paper we found that delayed hydroxyethylmethacrylate-based-hydrogel implantation improves the bridging function compared to early surgery.

Czech description
Poranění míchy má za následek tvorbu pseudocystických kavit. Implantace hydrogelu u poranění míchy vytváří přemostění pro regenerující nervovou tkáň. V této práci jsme zjistili, že pozdní implantaci hydrogelu na bázi hydroxyethylmetakrylátu zlepšuje přemosťující funkci implantátu oproti časné operaci.
