Original language description
Inspection of the geometry of oligosaccharides covalently bound to IgG-Fc reveals poor agreement with electron density in most of the structures deposited in the Protein Data Bank. Our study shows discrepancies mainly for L-fucose. Revision of refinementof two structures containing the Fc-fragment solved at the highest resolution brings clear evidence for ?-L-fucosylation instead of ?-L-fucosylation as it was claimed in most of the deposited structures in the Protein Data Bank containing the Fc-fragment, and also in the original structures selected for re-refinement.

Czech description
Kontrola geometrie oligosacharidů kovalentně vázaných na IgG-Fc odhaluje ve většině krystalových struktur v PDB špatnou shodu s elektronovou hustotou. Tato studie poukazuje hlavně na L-fukozu. Revize upřesnění dvou struktur obsahujících Fc-fragment řešených s nejvyšším rozlišením přináší jasný důkaz pro ?-L-fukozylaci namísto ?-L-fukozylace, jak je tvrzeno ve většině zveřejněných struktur a rovněž ve strukturách vybraných pro zpřesnění.
