    Properties of proton-conducting nafion-type membranes with nanometer-thick polyaniline surface layers

    The study is directed to the improving of proton-conducting Nanofion-type membranes for using in fuel cells with direct oxidation of liquid fuels. Nanometer-thick layer of polyaniline (in its conducting emeraldine form) was deposited onto the membrane surface by in situ polymerization.

    Studie smeřuje k vylepšení protonově vodivých membrán Nafionového typu pro palivové články s přímou oxidací kapalných paliv. Vrstva polyanilinu o tloušťce řádu nanometrů (ve vodivé protonované formě) byla nanesena na povrch membrány přímo v průběhu polymerace anilinu.
