  • Original language description

    Currently, wood is often used as a building material. The wood is flammable and in case of the fire can cause extensive damages. You can be protected by fire retardants, which to certain extent limit the emergence and spread of fire. The Czech Academy of Sciences is also dealing with development of fire retardants for wood. Such retardants are being tested. Study deals with testing and evaluating of some new retardants developed by above herein scientific institution. Testing was carried out according to methods proposed by us. It is being briefly described in the paper.
