The N2(A3.SIGMA.+u) energy transfer to OH(A2.SIGMA.+) in low-pressure pulsed RF discharges.
Original language description
In this paper we demostrate that the excitation of OH(A2.SIGMA.+) in a pulsed N2-H2O RF discharge is produced mainly by the reaction N2(A3.SIGMA.u+,v)+OH(X2.SIGMA.+)šipkaN2(X1.SIGMA.+)+OH(A2.SIGMA.+,v').We then obtain in the post-discharge the quasi-nascent rotational distribution of OH(A2.SIGMA.+,v=0) produced by such an energy transfer reaction, showing the probable presence of three main de-excitation panths for N2(A)
