Plasma Potential Measurements with Emissive Probes in the CASTOR Tokamak.
Original language description
Floating potential of probes in tokamaks is offen assumed to be proportional to the plasma pontetial. However, the IV-characteristic of a cold probe is distort by driting electrons and sensitive to the Te variations. The electron emissive probes, since an electron emission current is fairly independent of the conditions in the surrouding plasma is not sensitive to these effects.
