Ceramic coatings for thermal cycling.
Result description
Silicate and oxide were plasma sprayed and studied from the point of view of designing proper material combinations with metallic substrates for thermal barrier application. The goal of the study is to predict behavior of selected material combinations atthermal cycling.Significant problem there is a degradation of listed coatings as results of coating adhesion decreasing.
