Effect of anode attachment and hydrodynamic instability on fluctuations of thermal plasma jet
Original language description
An investigation of sources fluctuations of thermal plasma jet is done. Anode attachment fluctuation as well as hydrodynamic instabilities of the flow was recognized as the main sources of disturbances. It was found that percentage of argon in plasma significantly influences plasma fluctuations. An increase of argon flow rate lead to increase of fluctuation intensity so that they can play main role in destroy of initially laminar plasma flow.
