    Properties of synthetic gas produced by plasma gasification of biomass

  • Original language description

    Gasification of sawdust and wood pellets was carried out in the reactor equipped with hybrid gas-water stabilized DC plasma torch. The plasma torch features relatively low mass flow rate of plasma and very high enthalpy. Results revealed high concentrations of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and low tar content that is in good accordance with previous measurements.
