Surface DBD for deposition of PEO-like plasma polymers(SPPT 24th.)
Original language description
Předneseno na konf.:24th Symposium on Plasma Physics and Technology,Prague,14-17.06.2010: Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) is widely used in biomedicine as protein resistant substance and as a drug delivery agent. This work investigates an applicability of atmospheric pressure surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) for deposition of PEO-like plasma polymers. Given that the DBD patterns are strongly dependent on working gas composition, flow rate, electrode configuration, and the frequency/polarity of theapplied high voltage, the optimization of deposition parameters has been performed. Preliminary results on the properties of deposited films were obtained by FTIR and XPS.
