Předneseno na konf.:3rd International Conference on Plasma Medicine,Greifswald,19-27.09.2010: PEO has been widely considered for use in biomedical applications as protein resistant and nonimmunogenic material. This study explores a potential of obtainingPEO-like plasma polymers by using amplitude-modulated AC surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) at atmospheric pressure. The influence of electrical parameters (HV amplitude 2.1-6.6 kV peak-to-peak, duty cycle <0.4) on discharge characteristics (and, consequently, on properties of PEO-like films) was investigated through electrical measurements and optical emission spectroscopy. Preliminary results related to non-fouling PEO-like plasma polymers were obtained by FTIR and QCM.
