Original language description
Fast algorithm for the full wave solution of lower hybrid wave-guide grill is developed. Propagation of waves in collisional cold plasma is solved by finite elements method with adaptive mesh of nodes and also adaptive length of the integration interval.Application of high order Gauss rule in accessibility region and trapezoidal rule with iteratively tabulated integrand in inaccessibility region allow to use one mesh points for plasma related part of integrands for all coupling admitances. This mesh ofsolutions is independent on the grill parameters so it could be used for arbitrary structure. We have determined precisely which part of the radiated power by the waveguide grill goes to standing waves in the inaccessible region.
