Overview of recent results from the WEGA stellarator
Original language description
Over the last years the experimental program at WEGA has been wide spread, dealing e.g. with fundamental studies of the plasma-wave interactions as well as transport and fluctuation phenomena. Furthermore, WEGA is utilized for diagnostic development tests of the control system of Wendelstein 7-X being under construction in Greifswald. In this paper an overview of latest results from measurements of the magnetic flux surfaces, the generation of over-dense plasmas and supra-thermal electrons by means of radio frequency heating and turbulence studies in the vicinity of magnetic islands are presented
