Impact of overmodulation on spectral response in high efficient transmission gratings
Original language description
In this contribution, we would like to present our results and discussions of the impact of overmodulation on spectral sensitivity in high efficient transmission gratings. The theoretical aspect of this issue was examined through Kogelnik's coupled wavetheory and RCWA. Experimentally, we measured the spectral response of volume phase gratings produced in the Bayfol HX photopolymer and compared it with the theory. It was found that the spectral response has a character similar to angular sensitivity with respect to overmodulation apart from the pronounced wavelength-dependent spectral asymmetry.
