OH emission spectra in recombining arc plasma jet
Original language description
Plasma jet generated by the plasma torch with water-argon stabilization is studied by optical emission spectroscopy. Results include temperatures along the axis of the jet. It is shown that highly resolved emission spectra of OH can serve as a good thermometer in the downstream regions of the jet. It seems that even temperatures higher than 6 000 K may be measured efficiently by this method
