    The plasma-liquid interactions involves a complex interplay of physical and chemical processes occurring at the interface between a plasma and a liquid medium. These interactions give rise to the generation, transport, and transformation of various reactive species, leading to a wide range of chemical reactions and dynamic phenomena. The complex processes of plasmas contacting liquid water that need to be considered include gas phase chemistry, multiphase species transport, mass and heat transfer, interfacial reactions, and liquid phase chemistry. A distinction is made between the bulk liquid and the interfacial region, the latter being the location where many important processes involving short-lived species occur. Configurations of the plasma contacting the liquid significantly affects the underlying hydrodynamics as well as other properties of the plasma and the interface that affect interfacial transport. The type and quantity of the reactive species formed by discharge plasma in the liquid depend on the nature and the composition of the working gas and also on the physical-chemical properties of the liquid in the case of contact with plasma. When these species come into contact with the liquid surface, they can react at or penetrate through the plasma-gas/liquid interface and dissolve into the bulk liquid, and can undergo various chemical reactions in the liquid. In this talk processes of reactive species at the plasma-liquid interface and their coupled chemical reactions in the liquid phase will be presented.
