The second Würzburg Summer School took place in May 2009 at University Hospital Würzburg. The local organizers, led by the Head of the Clinic of Nuclear Medicine, Prof. Dr. Christoph Reiners, and Dr. Frederick A. Verburg, discharged their duties admirably. The internationally renowned speakers (Christoph Reiners, Frederik A. Verburg, Martin Fassnacht, László Hegedüs, Michael C. Kreissl, Markus Luster, Uwe Mäder, Kurt Werner Schmid, J.W.A. Smit, Marcel P.M. Stokkel, Dirk Vordermark) focused their lectures both on theory and on important practical information. Their lectures described the respective topic to the smallest detail.
