This paper represents the most important findings of a pilot study examining relationships among prosocial tendencies, empathy, and five personality dimensions on a sample of 137 female university students of social work and pedagogy. The findings of this study validate the existence of an imperative relationship among prosocial tendencies, empathy, and personality dimensions as related to openness to experience and sociability.

Příspěvek representuje nejvýznamnější zjištění pilotní studie zkoumající vztahy mezi prosocialním i tendencemi, empatií a pěti osobnostními dimenzemi u souboru 137 univerzitních studentek sociáln í práce a pedagogických oborů. Zjištění této studie potvrzují existenci podstatných vztahů mezi prosociálními tendencemi, empatií a osobnostními dimenzemi jako jsou otevřenost ke zkušenosti a sociabilita.
