Original language description
An Orthodox Christianity is a term for community of Churches, which forms after the establishment of Christianity in East part of Christian world. For Orthodox Christianity is adoration of icons typical. Icon is a picture of saints - it symbolises existence of Jesus Christ, Virgin Mary, angels, saints and other religious phenomenons in Orthodox. Orthodox Christians believe, that everyone has picture of God (so icon) inside. Icons have their own rules, which must be accept, otherwise they will be only religious pictures with arguable quality. But if icon has all of correct attributes and we can concentrate during study icon, we can see saints at picture like alive. So from icon are comming saints, they appear during rogation. It is very mystical moment.Orthodox art of icon writing is a very complicated theme. It is difficult to understand, if we don?t know the rules of writing icon and symbolical use of colours.
