The text deals with a visual culture of two female religious communities in Český Krumlov (South Bohemia) during the 14th and 15th cent. It attempts to reconstruct the portable paintings possibly associated with Poor Clare convent in Český Krumlov and newly interprets the murals in the third cloister of the Český Krumlov Poor Clare and Minoritten monastery – the cloister of the tertiary nuns and its iconography.
