Im Anschluss an die erste Konferenz(2014) stellte die Veranstaltung ein Forum zur Erörterung aktueller Veränderungs- und Entwicklungsprozesse im Fachdiskurs und in der Fachsprache dar, wobei folgende Themen behandelt wurden: Verwendung von Lingua Franca und Mehrsprachigkeit in der Fachkommunikation; professioneller Diskurs in verschiedenen Kontexten; professioneller Online-Diskurs; Übersetzen und Dolmetschen im beruflichen Kontext; neue Entwicklungen im Lerndiskurs; historische Perspektiven am Beispiel der Fachtexte und im Bereich der Fachkommunikation.
