The aim of this paper is to present the experience with the progress and evaluation of two international modules focused on the development of the so-called transferable work competences among university students, which should benefit them on the labour market and enable them to smoothly make the transition between education and career. These modules were developed and piloted in an international project involving three universities: University of Ostrava from the Czech Republic, University of Trnava and Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava from the Slovak Republic. In the academic year 2023/2024, the modules have already been offered to students of all three universities on a regular basis as part of lifelong learning. Students were therefore able to enrol in these modules in addition to their study programmes, which offered them the opportunity for further personal development. As part of these modules, they met colleagues from other universities and fields of study, learned how to work in international virtual teams, and at the same time gained information from university lecturers and practitioners who also shared their best practice experiences. For the evaluation of both modules, 360◦ evaluation was used twice. The first time it was used to evaluate the individual teams and therefore each individual participant, and the second time it was used to evaluate the actual modules, where the evaluation was carried out by the students themselves, the practitioners involved, and finally by the university lecturers. When comparing the results of the evaluation for the academic year 2023/2024 with the evaluations of the pilot modules, it became clear that in the future it will be necessary to work not only with the transferable work competences currently required by the labour market, but also to take into account the value orientation of the upcoming cultural generations - in our case, it is currently representatives of Generation Z.
