Products of slope processes represent the most important relief-forming feature of the Czech part of the Silesian Beskydy Mts. Radiometric dating of consequent landslide in Kotelnice river basin points to a remarkable activation of slope deformations during the degradation of permafrost at the turn of the Pleistocene and Holocene.
