    The actual distribution of the invasive spiny-cheek crayfish Orconectes limosus in the Czech Republic (CR) is limited to drainage areas of the Labe and Vltava rivers in Bohemia. 12 specimens of O. limosus were collected in the Prudník river (Odra drainage), on October 2006, in its short stretch on the territory of CR between its entry point from Poland and the confluence with the Osoblaha river at the outflow to Poland. It is the forst record of the invasive species in Moravian-Silesian region of CR.Thenative noble crayfish Astacus astacus was not found in the lower Osoblaha close to the confluence with the Prudník; its first occurrence was recorded about 8 km upstream above the town Bohušov.
