Details of the four most recent mass mortalities of native crayfish Astacus astacus or Austropotamobius torrentium and A. astaci between 2004 and 2007 are reported. The presence of the crayfish plague pathogen, Aphanomyces astaci, has been confirmed by molecular methods (PCR with species-specific primers and sequencing of the pathogen DNA) and microscopic analysis.

Czech description
Jsou ubedeny podrobnosti čtyř posledních masových úhynů raků Austropotamobius torrentium a A. astaci na račí mor v letech 2004 až 2007. Přítomnost patogenu račího moru, plísně Aphanomyces astaci, byla potvrzena molekulární metodou (PCR s druhově specifickými markery a sekvenací DNA patogenu) a mikroskopickou analýzou.
