Original language description
The nappe-type flysch structure of the Outer Western Carpathians represents an environment vulnerable to the occurrence of large-scale slope deformations. In the surroundings of Mt Velká Rača we can find several types of slope deformations predisposed bya set of tectonic faults. The slope processes were studied by the methods of geomorphic mapping, sedimentology, morphostructural analysis and structural measurement both on bedrock outcrops and inside the cave system. Subsurface structures which may predispose consequential slope processes were identified by the method of electrical resistivity tomography (ERT).
