The contribution introduces a research in the field of Moodle system plugin with the ability to process an evaluationof Java programming homeworks in an automated way. An automated assessment consists of two parts - plagiarism evaluationcomparing homeworks against each other, and an automated correctness evaluation of the homework. The plugin has to implementa security measures in a form of sandbox feature to ensure Moodle system security and stability
