The paper deals with teaching web-based portals that are created by students of the Department of Information and Communication technologies in different projects and bachelor thesis. Each portal is focused on another area, such as raster graphics in anapplication GIMP, digital photography, digital video, etc. The primary use is to support education for students in the combined form of study. Some portals are designed for teaching in elementary and secondary schools and are used as a teaching tool. Thebasis for the creation of such educational web portals is to use modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Flash. This entails a whole range of other applications for creation of multimedia objects.
