Original language description
This monoggraph is divided into five basic section. In the first introductory part the author focuses on social services and principiles, and on the availability and use of social services, and provides a complete overview of social services available inthe Chech Rebublic. The second part briefly explains community-based planning focusing on social services and describes the current community plan of the city of Ostrava in more detail. The third part - In contains a detailed socio-demographic analysisof the Ostrava city district. The fourth part consist of a detailed content analysis of 152 existing community plans of municipalities, regions and territories. In the final stage the author summanrises the results obtained throught the research whitch indicate that actual evaluation of individual elements of socio-demographic analysis used in community plans created for individual municipalities, and that community plan authors only sporadically use or refer socio-demographic analysis.
