  • Original language description

In some applied sciences, the type of the qualitative research has been frequently appeared. However, the quantitative research can be also the useful methodology; even though, the statistical significance can increase the guarantee of the research. In this paper, the quantitative type of the methodology is presented on the applied practically realized research of the student’s results in the area of the visual arts education. On the data, the statistical approaches for purposes of the paired comparisons are applied. Firstly, the generally used statistical techniques of the paired tests are realized with an obtainment of p values, the test criterions and the effect sizes. As the second, the correlation coefficients and the descriptive characteristics are determined. Both approaches are provided with regards to the sample size. In the achieved results, the similarities of these different types of approaches are identified by the cluster analysis with regards to the changing the sample size.
