Gregor Eldarb - Several Models Put Together

  • Original language description

Gregor Eldarb (1971) has graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna; from 1992 he also lives there. In his artistic work, spectacular urban visions are transformed into unforgettable structural models. Referring to the constructivist models of classical avant-garde of the inter-war period of the 20th century, he creates hypothetical spacious constructions and forms holding a mesmeric dialogue with an understanding both of real and utopic gestures of urban environments. Through his drawings, objects and videos, the author explores his surroundings.
