In this paper we propose to use the fuzzy transform as a method of mining associations which have a emph{functional} character. As a result we obtain a set of IF-THEN rules which correspond fuzzy numbers in the antecedent to evaluating linguistic expressions (i.e. expressions such as small, very big, more or less medium, etc.) in the consequent.
